Rule Your Heart

Lord, I sing of Your love and Your justice so true,
Help me walk in Your way, make my heart brand new.
In this digital world, where the screens never sleep,
I’ll guard what I see, what I like, what I keep.

Chorus
Rule your heart with a fire for what’s true,
Like David, let holiness shine through!
Turn from the dark, let your posts lift His name,
In God’s radiant glory, set the world aflame!

No more scrolling through hate, or the lies that they spread,
I’ll unfollow the wicked, fill my feed with Your bread.
What I post and I share, let it honor Your name,
Behave online with grace, never playing the game.

Chorus
Rule your heart with a fire for what’s true,
Like David, let holiness shine through!
Turn from the dark, let your posts lift His name,
In God’s radiant glory, set the world aflame!

Start with myself, then my home, then the crowd,
Root out corruption, make my circle proud.
Surround with the faithful, purge the arrogant pride,
In every click and word, let Your truth be my guide.

Chorus
Rule your heart with a fire for what’s true,
Like David, let holiness shine through!
Turn from the dark, let your posts lift His name,
In God’s radiant glory, set the world aflame!

Lord, come to me as I seek Your face,
Bless my intentions in this online space!
Though I may stumble, Your mercy’s my stay,
Help me lead my life in Your holy way!

Chorus
Rule your heart with a fire for what’s true,
Like David, let holiness shine through!
Turn from the dark, let your posts lift His name,
In God’s radiant glory, set the world aflame!

Rule your heart, yeah, rule your heart today,
With God’s love leading, we’ll find the way!
No more darkness, just His glorious light,
Ruling our lives with power and might!

Psalm 101

Of David. A psalm.

I will sing of your love and justice;
to you, Lord, I will sing praise.

2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.

3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.
I hate what faithless people do;
I will have no part in it.

4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,
I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
I will not tolerate.

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
the one whose walk is blameless
will minister to me.

No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.

Every morning I will put to silence
all the wicked in the land;
I will cut off every evildoer
from the city of the Lord.
